Installation Guide

The WMSmart Setup Wizard will guide you through the installation process. Both Standard and Advanced installations are available. To install the Free, Trial or Standard Editions of WMSmart, use the Standard Installation, which will install main WMSmart application components and database engine used to store and manage your data.

The installation process will scan your PC and will automatically install the required prerequisites. Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) must be installed by the user before running WMSmart Setup.

Installation Process

After downloading the WMSmart Setup executable file from the web, double-click on the WMSmartSetup icon to initiate the installation process.

The following windows will open:

Click Next to continue. The License Agreement dialog window will appear.

Read the End User License Agreement (EULA) carefully. If you accept the terms of the agreement, choose the Accept option. Now you can continue by clicking Next.

Setup Types

Standalone PC Installation (Trial, Free and Standard Editions) - Based on your license, this option will allow you to install the Trial, Free and Standard Editions.
These stand-alone PC installations can only be installed on a single PC.
A Standalone installation will install both the client application and the database.
Advanced Installation - Based on your license, this option will allow you to install the Professional, Premier and Enterprise Editions. These editions can be installed on both single PC or a network environment (Client/Server).
The Server installation will install both the Client application and the database. The database will be accessible to all the clients in the network. Select this option if other computers on your network are connected to this computer.

Select setup type

The next window will allow you to select one of 2 setup types. Choose an appropriate one and click Next.
