Rule of Calculation
Formula:
Current Date >Expiration date - Expiration Period* Duration Type (year, month, day)
For example, two months are the duration of the expiration period that is assigned for item DVD-20 in the Item Details tab.
In the New Work Order In General Inventory window we assign 20 February 2007 as an Expiration Date for this item entry.
So, Expiration Start Date is February 20.
Now, according to the formula, you will get the following: 20 February – 2 month= 2007 December 20.
Expiration filter in the Entry/Exit
Criteria
report shows entries with expired or already started expiration
period.
If, for example, current date is January 1, 2007; the expiration period is already started. This entry will be shown in the report.
