Counter Management
The counter management feature allows better customizing WMSmart to the business by changing the appearance of the counters. It permits to specify the prefix to use, prefix separator, suffix separator, and the suffix as well as specify the initial number and the next number to use in the counters.
To modify the counters go to: Tools Counter Management. You can select either Administration Counters or Account Counters to edit.
The Administration Counters and
the Account Counters are
changeable.
Administration Counters
The Administration Counters include the Warehouses, Warehouse/Business Managers, Users, Stores, Roles, Cycle Countings, Currencies, and Accounts counters.
To edit Administration
Counters, select the administration counter to edit from the grid and
click the 
button
located at the top of the window.
The Edit Counter tab
will open.
Make all the necessary changes and click Ok.
Prefix
Suffix
Next Number
Shows the number of the next user created.
Initial Number
Shows the number of the first user.
Show Leading Zero
This function inserts zero before every number e.g. 8 becomes 08 when the number of users exceeds 10; 08 becomes 008 when the number of users exceeds 100 and so on.
The counter will be presented in the following way:
Account Counters
The Account Counters include the Work Orders Out,Work Orders In, Transfer Orders, Service Items, Repackage Orders, Price Lists, Non-Inventory Items, Items, and Contacts counters.
To edit Account
Counters, select the account counter to edit from the grid and click the
button located at the top of the window.
The Edit Counter window will open.
Prefix
Suffix
Next Number shows the number of the next item.
