Add Work Order In Entry/Lot Item
Open New Work Order In window. Click the following link to learn how to Add Work Order In.
Select Work Order Items tab. Then, in the Entry/Lot Inventory tab, click the Add/Edit Entry/Lot button.
The next window will open.
You can organize item search by the following criteria: Item Code, Description, UPC No, and Item No.
Choose the desired item. E.g., A620.
Entry/Lot Number
After you have chosen the item, the Select Entry/Lot Number window appears automatically. Here you may assign Entry/Lot for the selected item, and this Entry/Lot will be used for the rest of the items added. Moreover, you may assign proper Entry/Lot for every entry you receive.
The Select Entry/Lot # window contains four options: Assign Unique Sequential #, which automatically assigns Entry/Lot in sequential order; Assign Manual option, on the other hand, entitles you to assign Entry/Lot yourself. Unassigned Entry/Lot option allows selecting Entry/Lot that was skipped before. Assigned Entry/Lot is Entry/Lot that is already in use and it can be given to every new item entry again.
At the bottom, you may see the Current inventory for the item button. Click it to display the current inventory for this item or just point the cursor on it to see the current Inventory for the item.
Editing the item's entries
You can either add entries for a work order or remove them. Click the Add Entry button to add new Entry of the item you selected
or click Remove Entry to remove it.
Note: You can add as many entries as you wish; however, to save the item, at least, one entry must be presented.
Clicking the various fields can change their properties.
You may choose the Manufacturer ,
Packaging type.
Expected and Actual Packages and Items
Expected Packages
This field requires that you enter the amount of expected packages for this item.
Actual Packages
This field requires that you enter the amount of actual packages received for this item.
Expected & Actual items
These fields are automatically updated once the Expected/Actual Packages fields are filled in; however, they can be updated manually.
Number of Pallets
Enter the number of pallets of the chosen item.
The Number of Pallets field can be edited if On-hand Inventory Item doesn't have Master Package Type Pallets. If Pallet was assigned as Master Package Type, the Number of Pallets window is Read-Only.
Weight
Location
This field allows you to choose the storage location for the items. Click the “Click to set location” field. The next window will open. Choose the location for the item. E.g., Warehouse-5.
Details
To set the property values, click the “Click to set details” field. In the opened window, make necessary changes.
Items Condition
There are three possible condition states for the item: Intact, Damaged, and Loose. All these states describe the condition of the received goods.
Add New Packaging
You can add a new packaging by clicking on the Add New Packaging button.

Entry date
The entry creation date is fixed and cannot be edited.
ETA
Allows establishing the Estimated Time Arrival of items. This field is displayed in all reports.
Received State
This field allows choosing two states: Created and Received. The Received state indicates that the Expected quantity is equal to the Allocated quantity of the item. The Created state indicates that some quantity of the item wasn't received, i.e. the Allocated quantity is not equal to the Expected one.
Reports tips:
Note: The Forecast report is displayed according to the ETA date field.
Note: When Post is performed for several times, the reports display all post dates!
Note: The History and Activity reports are displayed according to the Post date field.
Entry/Lot Number button
Pay attention
to the button. It allows you
to assign an Entry/Lot for incoming Inventory Items. In case an owner has several Work
Orders In with an identical item, he or she should know which came first etc.
This allows selecting one of the four options:
Sequential, Manual, Assigned and Unassigned Entry/Lot.
Select the Sequential option.
The Entry/Lot immediately appears in the Entry/Lot field.
However, you may edit this field by clicking on it and choosing Assign Unique Sequential # option, Assign Manual, Unassigned Entry/Lot or Assigned options. After all the necessary changes are done, click OK.
When the Work Order In with Entry/Lot Inventory Item is ready, click OK.
In the open window, click the Save and Close button.
