The next step is creating a storage location. To create a new warehouse, click on the 2. Create Storage Location (Warehouse) link on the start page.
The Add/Edit Warehouse window will open.
General Tab
This tab is divided into two sections: Warehouse Definition and Dimensions.
Warehouse Definition
This section allows editing the warehouse properties. The red markings indicate mandatory fields that must be filled in properly before the warehouse details can be saved.
Dimensions
This section allows editing the warehouse dimensions, which are calculated in cubic Feet and Inches.
Enter the necessary data.
When the Warehouse is given a name, the Sublocations tab becomes available. Open this tab by clicking on it.
This tab is used to set sublocations for the warehouse. Later it is permitted to add activities under these sublocations.
Root location code
This field allows assigning a certain code/label to the Warehouse. Enter any code you want.
To add a new location, click on the button.
The Add/Edit Sublocation window will appear.
This window contains the following fields: Location Type, Name, Description, Size, Total Size, and Location Code.
Fill in all the relevant information.
Location type
Choose a location type or add your own by typing a new location type into the field.
To type your own location type, double-click on the Pencil icon or press Alt + Enter to edit the list.
A new window will open. In this window, you can Add, Edit, or Remove item descriptions to be included into the drop-down list.
Fill in the remaining fields: Location Name, Description, Size, and Location code.
Then click OK.
A New Sublocation will appear under the warehouse.
To edit a location, first select that
location, and then either click on
the button or double-click on the selected location.
To remove a location, ensure that the location is not
participating in any activities. If it is so, you will be able to remove it by
clicking on the
button.
After all the neccessary data was
entered, click on the
button.
After saving the New Warehouse, it will be added to the Warehouses window, where it will receive a new counter.
To generate Root Location code, first, double-click on the location you need in the Warehouses window.
In the new opened window click on the Print Label button.
The Label will be generated for the chosen Warehouse.
On the top of this window, you can see the following buttons: Print, Zoom, One Page, Two Pages, Four Pages, Six Pages, and Close .
The Print button allows printing the current Label Report.
The Zoom button allows viewing the Label in different modes. Select the zooming factor from the Zoom drop-down list to view the Label report.
